SecureGuard Protection Inc.

Securegard Protection Incorporated was founded by founder Yashelle Jackson. Yashelle, had spent most of her adult life within the retail security business, had a passion for success and a natural talent to detect shoplifters and manage risk. Yashelle invested 14 years in both retail and commercial security and understands the importance of customer service within the industry. Having networked within the industry and understanding the elements needed to deliver superior service, Yashelle observed a need to provide better service to her community at large. She founded SPI in 2018.

Our Qualifications

SPI is a fully licenced and approved security provider through the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General. SPI is registered and is fully insured privately and through WSIB. We carry comprehensive general liability Insurance covering bodily injury and property damage.

At SecureGard Protection Inc, our business is to protect your business. Our team has over 14 years of customer service, retail/commercial security, Health & Safety, accident investigations, inventory shrinkage and loss prevention experience. We literally embody our mantra, “When You Are Not Watching, We Are”. Our business IS customer service and we pride ourselves in providing security solutions that are customer service focused which protect both your business and patrons. We are your partner in growing your business and we want to see your company flourish within the community in which it operates.

We believe in ensuring our guards represent our values and us such all SPI guards are trained and possess the following qualifications:

  • Completed 40hours in class security training program which covers powers of arrest
  • Valid security guard license
  • Physically and mentally capable of undertaking all duties associated with customer requirements Citizen of Canada or legally able to work in Canada
  • Trained in First Aid & CPR Previous experience in the Security Industry field Ability to ready, write and speak English
  • Have a clean criminal record
  • Be a minimum of 19 years old
  • Have adequate training in Workplace Hazardous Material Information System.
